JOURNEY INTO HISTORY
Longest ride of 2023! It is held only once a year. Make a reservation before it’s too late.
Famous for its unique rock formations, the magical and distinctive “fairy chimneys”, hot air balloon rides and amazing horses. This is Cappadocia, which was inscribed to the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1985. With it is natural and cultural criteria, we are so lucky to have an amazing site, here in our beautiful country, Turkey.
This wonderful place has so many activities to offer but we believe that the best and most unforgettable way to discover Cappadocia is on horseback trail ride.
This joyful experience is open to advanced and experienced horse riders. Some of the routes would need to be passed with hard gallop. Some routes may require you to dismount of your horse and you have to be able to mount again independently. Because we prioritise your needs, we have to mention these points. Riding with well-mannered and lively Arabian and Anatolian-Arabian horses will leave you refreshed and full of joy.
We are pretty sure that you have heard the famous word “Lycian Way” even once in your life. If not let us tell you a little bit more about the area and take you around so that you have a better grasp of our this cultural site.
Lycian way, one of the most picturesque routes in the world, is famous with being over 500 km long, starting from Hisarönü stretching to Antalya. It takes its name from the ancient civilization Lycia, which once ruled the area. Being Turkey’s very first long-distance walking route, it was made in order to identify and protect some of Turkey’s old roads. This 500 km long route has been a home for many trekkers, hikers, mountain bikers, as well as horseback riders and we definitely believe that now is your turn to discover the beauties of it and “travel in history” on horseback.
Join us and smell the fabulous forestry predominates; where pines are mixed with strawberry trees and carob, and give way to juniper and cedar at higher elevations while passing through the gates that open to the magnificent sea view. This tour is for experienced riders only, where we will be riding for 4-5 hours daily with well mannered, high-spirited Arab and Anatolian-Arab breed mares.
We hope you enjoy during the tour;
- meeting and chatting with the locals in the area
- encountering herds of sheep and goats along the way
- passing through centuries-old olive trees
