ITINERARY

Please note, this is a suggested itinerary only and subject to change due to weather and other influencing factors.

Your Kyrgyz adventure begins the moment you land at Manas International Airport. With your guide, you set off towards the mountains, leaving the city behind. Along the way, you stop at the legendary Burana Tower, standing as a silent witness of the Silk Road era. Then, the road winds through the colorful canyons of Kok Moinok, where sandstone cliffs glow under the sun. By evening, you arrive in Kyzart Village, welcomed by a warm meal and local hospitality in a guesthouse – the perfect start to your journey.

This morning, you meet your horseman and set off into the wide open pastures of Kyrgyzstan. The ride takes you across green meadows, rivers, and rolling ridges until the vast Kilemche Valley opens before you. The valley is dotted with nomadic yurts and grazing herds, offering an authentic glimpse into mountain life. Tonight, you sleep in a traditional yurt, under a sky full of stars.

Today is a day of adventure and challenge. You climb steadily towards the Chaar Archa Pass (3,300 m), where the horizon opens to a panorama of snow-capped mountains and valleys below. Descending from the pass, your horse carries you towards the southern shores of the legendary Song-Kol Lake (3,016 m) – a shimmering alpine jewel embraced by endless pastures. Shepherd families greet you, sharing their simple yet rich lifestyle. Tonight, the silence of the mountains and the crackling of a yurt stove lull you to sleep.

The morning sun rises over Song-Kol’s calm waters. After breakfast, you say goodbye to the nomadic world and descend by car through winding passes and river valleys. By afternoon, you arrive in Kochkor Town, known for its artisans and welcoming families. In a guesthouse, a homemade dinner awaits – comfort and warmth after days in the highlands.

Another riding day begins with fresh energy. The path leads through alpine meadows and streams, with wildflowers painting the valleys. By afternoon, you reach the turquoise beauty of Kol-Ukok Lake, hidden among tall peaks. Surrounded by serenity, you spend the night in yurts by the water, the stars reflecting on the surface of the lake.

Waking up to the crisp mountain air at Kol-Ukok, you saddle up for the return ride. The trail leads back through valleys and pastures, each turn offering a new perspective of the landscape. By afternoon, you are back in Kochkor, welcomed with another hearty dinner and a cozy guesthouse stay.

Today is about culture. In Kochkor, you visit a local family who teaches you the ancient craft of felt-making (shyrdaks). Later, a folklore performance fills the air with Kyrgyz music and dance. After lunch, you drive back to Bishkek (3.5 hours), where the city’s best restaurants await you for dinner.

After a week in the mountains, it’s time to explore Kyrgyzstan’s vibrant capital. You stroll through Ala-Too Square, visit the State History Museum, and wander beneath the trees of Oak Park. The bustling Osh Bazaar offers spices, dried fruits, and handmade crafts – the perfect souvenirs to take home. In the evening, you enjoy a farewell dinner in a traditional restaurant, celebrating the memories of your adventure.

Your Kyrgyz journey comes to an end. After breakfast, a transfer takes you to Manas International Airport, where you board your flight back to Turkey – carrying with you unforgettable memories of mountains, horses, yurts, and warm Kyrgyz hospitality.
